Big Haiti Travel Tips
Because space is limited in the supply containers pack
light and carry all your personal items in your personal carry on luggage. Your checked luggage will be two large
containers of medical supplies. The
weight of the checked luggage has been reduced from 70 to 50 pounds. You are allowed to carry on board American
Airlines one suitcase/backpack and one small bag. The suitcase must fit in the
overhead compartment and the small bag must fit under your seat. You may want to consider not wearing your
return home clothes while in
The information below
is from the AA web site concerning your personal carry on. There is also a link below that will show you
a picture of the plastic bag. We can put
items in the tubs if small size bottles are not available and for the bug
spray. You may want to write your name
on the bag should it get mixed up with another passengers bag.
